5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
We get together for Snack Chat! each week to share our different experiences with each other, play conversational games, do role plays, watch DVD's and have discussions about meaningful topics. Internationals of any religion or nationality and friends of internationals are heartily welcomed to come and engage. Together we can learn about each other's cultures, beliefs and ideas. A variety of ethnic foods (including Chinese and spicy vegetarian), chai and juice is served at 5:00 p.m. with the program scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Snack Chat! is in the Peace Center, 1st floor, United University Church, 817 W. 34th St., on campus. FREE BIBLES and SMALL GROUP STUDIES
Tuesday, daytime and evening
What does life mean? Why are we here? Get a FREE BIBLE to investigate these questions on your own. And you can make your experience richer by participating in a small group in which students take turns facilitating the discussion as they examine the passage as a group to find out what it means. Available are small group Bible studies on the book of John led by Pastor Jim during the daytime on Tuesdays. A newcomers study runs from 3 to 4 p.m. Other possibilities are offered by appointment other times during the day on Tuesdays. Sign up on the Join page and let us know if you would like a FREE BIBLE or a SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY. Or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
