Approximately 25 students are very pleased to have participated in Worldwide Friends Welcome Dinner program this last September. These students were picked up at USC taken to the suburbs to meet an American family and enjoy a noontime meal and conversation with them. After their time together, the family drove them back to USC. To get to know an American family and enjoy time with them in their home is a very special privilege. |
The families also greatly appreciated
getting to know the students. This program gives those who participate
a chance to continue the relationship, to learn more about each other's
culture and hopefully to develop a long-lasting friendship.
Homestay Weekend in Lake Arrowhead Village Worldwide Friends also offers an annual Homestay Weekend in scenic Lake Arrowhead Village in the San Bernardino Mountains. On this adventure, you will join in some exciting group activities such as ice skating, skiing if there's snow, or hiking. And most importantly, you will have the opportunity to stay with get to know a gracious American family during your time there. COMING THIS WINTER! |
