Worldwide Friends offers many enjoyable
activities including hikes,
beach trips, visits to local events, holiday
programs, parties and outings.
| Do you ever think, "Oh, if I could get my nose out of these books and away from this blinding computer screen for a little while! It'd be great if I could get outdoors and go hiking, swimming or biking or some other activity and have some fun with other people for a change!" Worldwide Friends is the place for you! We regularly offer outdoor activities such as hiking in the mountains, beach trips, biking trips and cross-country skiing (Don't worry. We show you how. It's great and is not expensive.). | If there are other activities you would like for Worldwide Friends to do, let us know. Maybe we can work it in. Sometimes we also take students along with us when we go Contra Dancing on Friday or Saturday nights. Contra Dance is American folk dancing similar to the square dance. It's easy. All you have to do is follow the caller. Let us know if you'd like to join us for this sometime. Other students have enjoyed it in the past. |
